Import/Export Broker

JOB DESCRIPTION

We’re looking for a highly experienced Import/Export Broker / International trade agent who is fluent in English and has a proven track record of success in global trade. This is a remote role working with Western and international companies. The ideal candidate will be results-driven, highly self-motivated, and capable of independently brokering high-value B2B deals.


KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Lead Generation & Outreach: Identify and connect with importers and suppliers in your assigned markets through calls, emails, and professional networks.


Trade Deal Management: Facilitate deals between importers and suppliers, including pricing negotiation, MOQ clarification, lead times ect.


Relationship Building: Maintain and grow a network of reliable buyers and suppliers. Build trust through consistent communication and follow-ups.


Market Expertise: Focus primarily on the UK market, but also engage with companies across Europe, Gulf, North America, and other regions.


Deal Closure & Commission Tracking: Secure deals successfully, ensuring all parties meet agreed terms and that your commissions are tracked.


Knowledge Sharing: Apply your understanding of Incoterms, international payments, and shipping logistics to ensure smooth transaction flow.


KEY SKILLS & QUALIFICATIONS

Fluency in English – essential for global client communication.


Minimum 5+ years experience in import/export brokering, sourcing, or international sales, with a proven record of closed deals.


Deep understanding of global trade processes, Incoterms, and B2B negotiations.


Exceptional communication, and relationship management skills.


Self-driven and capable of working independently, managing multiple leads and priorities.


Comfortable interacting with decision-makers and navigating high-value deals.


Strong problem-solving skills and ability to troubleshoot international trade issues.


Familiarity with sourcing platforms is a plus.


IT literate and excellent phone manners.


REQUIREMENTS

Laptop and stable internet connection


Availability to work remote hours aligned with UK/EU markets (approx. 8AM – 5PM UK time / 12:30PM – 9:30PM IST)


Demonstrable record of success in closing international trade deals

SALARY & BENEFITS

Base Salary: ₹31,000/100,000Rs per month 


Commission: ₹12,500/40,000Rs per successful deal

HOURS OF WORK

Standard: ~12:30PM – 9:30PM IST Monday–Friday (aligned with 8AM – 5PM UK Time)
